The sizes people get wrong
Dimensions on these platforms change, so check the current upload spec at the moment you submit rather than trusting any blog post, including this one. The principles do not change:
- Header banners are cropped hard on mobile. Keep anything important centred and away from the edges.
- The token icon is displayed small and round. Design for the circle, not the square you uploaded.
- Text in a banner is usually a mistake. It becomes unreadable at the sizes these actually render at. Use the character art.
- Contrast matters more than detail, because it is rendered small next to a chart.
